Georgia Southern University recently recognized approximately 2,900 students for excellence in academics on the Fall 2017 Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

The Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health was founded in 1924 to promote the graduate study of public health, which at the time was a new field. Delta Omega has more than 84 chapters worldwide and more than 15,000 members from the top echelons of graduate schools and programs of public health, as well as the public health community.

Trevecca Nazarene University announces the names of students who were selected to be part of its two music ministry teams. Refuge and Awaken are musical groups that represent Trevecca at church and school events throughout the Southeast, introducing young people to Trevecca and they also periodically lead worship in chapel. Members of these groups receive scholarships for their work on these teams.
